Rebecca Barr is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, who has been practicing in San Diego since 1995. She maintains a private practice at the Fourth Avenue Professional Center. Her practice includes treatment of couples, families, individuals and groups, with a particular emphasis on premarital counseling and prenatal marriage counseling.
Rebecca received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego, and her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego. She has experience with a wide variety of clientele, including children and adolescents, couples and families, gays and lesbians, substance abusers, and the severely mentally disturbed.
Rebecca is the creator of FRESH©, a unique perspective on healthy relationships. Her training includes the PREPARE/ENRICH Program and PREP. She is excited to have the opportunity to help people live their best lives. Rebecca is also an instructor for the national program Making Marriage Work and for Gerry Grossman Seminars. She is affiliated with the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
